Chris and Kristin have worked together for many years, having first met when they both worked at Withers. Kristin has practised US tax law in London for most of her career. She has significant expertise working with owner-managed businesses in a cross-border context and helping clients navigate multiple tax systems.
Kristin’s clients include family-owned and closely-held businesses and their owners, entrepreneurs, and private equity, real estate and venture capital fund principals. In addition to regular advisory work for her long-term clients, she frequently works with management teams in private equity buyout and roll-over transactions and on management incentive plans.
Kristin focuses on understanding her client’s goals and their broader circumstances, to provide bespoke technical and practical advice in complex situations.

In addition, Christine has significant experience in advising clients on US tax compliance matters and relinquishment of US citizenship and lawful permanent resident (green card) status.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys exploring London on foot with her husband, two young daughters, and dog.

Alex joined McLemore Konschnik LLP as an associate in June 2025. Alex has experience advising on US federal income, estate and gift tax issues affecting high net worth families with connections to the US. He also has experience in advising non-compliant US taxpayers through amnesty programs such as the IRS Streamlined Procedures and advising on the relinquishment of US citizenship.
Before joining McLemore Konschnik, Alex spent four years focusing on capital markets transactions in Asia. He advised on a number of Hong Kong IPOs, assisting both issuers and underwriters with regulatory compliance, disclosure obligations, and listing requirements.
Alex is a native Mandarin speaker.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys cycling around London.

She has a Law LLB degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
Outside of her paralegal work, Katy enjoys spending time with her family and has three black belts in martial arts.
