McLemore Konschnik LLP names New Horizon Youth Centre as its 2025 Charity of the Year

McLemore Konschnik LLP has chosen New Horizon Youth Centre as its 2025 Charity of the Year. The law firm has set a target to raise £20,000 for the charity in 2025.

New Horizon Youth Centre works with young people, aged 16 to 24, who are unsafe or experiencing homelessness in London. New Horizon’s mission is to provide the same opportunities for all young people in London, regardless of their background or circumstances, so they can reach their full potential and live the lives they want. New Horizon was founded in 1967 by Lord Longford to address the escalating crisis of young Londoners caught up in homelessness, drug use and the criminal justice system. Today, New Horizon continues to work with young people who need the most support and continues to provide a safe space for young people experiencing homelessness in the capital. New Horizon supports young people through outreach in the community and in prison through their accommodation projects across London and in their Camden day centre.

McLemore Konschnik LLP partner Kristin Konschnik said:

With the continuing housing and cost of living crisis a particular concern in London, we are pleased to support New Horizon Youth Centre as our 2025 Charity of the Year. New Horizon focuses on long term plans for at risk children and young people, providing direct, wraparound support, including housing, advice and healthcare services. Using their knowledge and experience New Horizon also work for systemic change for all young people through policy work, partnerships and campaigning.

We hope that our support for New Horizon Youth Centre in 2025 will help enable them to continue their essential work of providing at risk children and young people with the support they need to reach their true potential, through their transition to adulthood and their working life, and going forward.

McLemore Konschnik LLP partner Chris McLemore added:

A charitable element is at the very heart of our law firm. We are proud to be donating to non-profit organisations and are very pleased to choose New Horizon Youth Centre as our firm’s 2025 Charity of the Year to play a small role in the amazing work they do.
